• Review of "John Turner Designs" at Poynton

  Avoid at all costs.
  
  We went with Flooring and Fabrics in Poynton to fit a new hardwood floor.
  
  Work started in November 2018. Their fitters accidentally put 3 nails through radiator pipes, which wasnt found until February 2019. Accidents happen, but this is where Craig from the store disappeared.
  
  After weeks of avoiding our calls, and making excuse after excuse, come May 2019, no effort had been made to fix the floor or even properly inspect the damage.
  
  Craig kept sending round the cheapest workmen he could find who had never fitted a floor before and had no clue what they were doing, because he "didnt want to lose money on this job".
  
  Craig refused to even inspect the floor, claiming it was fine and when we said we wanted him to at least arrange a reputable floor fitter to do the work or give our money back, he eventually stopped responding to our calls and emails.
  
  In the end, we were forced to go with another company who had actually heard a lot of bad things about Flooring and Fabrics in the past. They took up and inspected the floor, and 15sqm of flooring had to be skipped and replaced due to mould damage.
  
  Craig has taken no responsibility for completing the job and currently has done a runner with the money weve paid him.
  
  Avoid at all costs, there are better places near by. He has little knowledge about fitting floors and will do the least amount of work possible with the cheapest workers to maximise his own profits.
  
  If he had any morals, he would get in touch with us and offer a refund to fix his mistakes.
